Maybe you could have a category of ’supporting individuals’ who could be another kind of member….I’d like to do that, just to show that I think it’s a great idea. And a great website too.
Can our member listing be changed to “Burr and Burton Academy”? Thanks!
A few questions from a blog idiot
How do you keep the spammers from eating you alive? i\’ve seen blogs with nothing but spam postings.
can viruses be posted to blogs?
Fundraiser, your first and third questions are appropriate for this forum. The second is one you’ll have to figure out on your own. I have removed it since it does not fit with the aims of this site. Now, on to your questions:
1. Most blogging services have spam blockers and have the option of typing in a code in order to comment. WordPress uses Akismet, which works wonderfully, but other blogging programs have add ons or “plug ins” that help block spam. It helps to have all comments sent to your e-mail account so you can moderate them.
2. I have never heard of a virus infecting blogs. I doubt it’s possible.
Thanks for stopping by!
